AccuShred, LLC is a high-security information destruction company, that currently services clients in Northwest Ohio, Southeastern Michigan and parts of Indiana.

AccuShred, the area's first AAA NAID Certified Information Destruction Contractor, is backed by State Paper & Metal Company, Inc., a well-respected family owned and operated recycling firm that has provided its customers with more than 70 years of world-class service.

Responding to the growing threat of information and identity theft, AccuShred has been rapidly expanding its services and geographic area of coverage. We provide a wide range of secure destruction services to our clientele, ranging from Fortune 500 companies to small local businesses and individuals. We provide our clients with four primary services: scheduled container pick-up, purge service, witnessed destruction and customer drop-off.

AccuShred keeps pace with the times by now offering secure destruction of computer hard drives and other electronic equipment.

No job is too large or small. AccuShred's controlled access facility is equipped with a 24-hour state-of-the-art video surveillance system and monitored alarms. Our plant has the capacity to shred 8-10,000 pounds of documents and materials per hour into millions of 1/2" pieces.

AccuShred continually looks for ways to improve the level of service and protection that we provide our clients. We have added an additional level of security by becoming one of the first 20 firms in the United States to purchase ShredderGuard Professional Liability Insurance specifically designed to cover document destruction service providers. We also purchased new lockable containers with "fish guard" protection that provide a higher level of security, helping to ensure an unbroken chain of custody.

AccuShred provides detailed training to every employee on how sensitive information is to be handled. All employees who collect, transport and destroy sensitive information must pass a thorough third-party background check and are randomly tested for drug use. Each employee must read and understand our written Policy and Procedures Manual and sign a Nondisclosure and Confidentially Agreement as a condition of employment. All of our employees wear easily identifiable uniforms with photo ID's and are bonded and insured.

AccuShred prides itself on being an environmentally responsible corporate neighbor. All destroyed paper is sent directly from our plant to a paper or pulping mill where it is pulped and recycled into new paper household goods.
